About Dan Cabisada
Dan Cabisada is no stranger to Cebuanos. Better known as Papa Dan, his is a household name for any household with a radio – that is to say, all households across the region. Dan Cabisada is former radio DJ and is now an events host and voice-over artist. As a radio DJ, his voice rocked regional radio stations such as GMA Cagayan De Oro Barangay 100.7 and GMA Cebu Barangay RT 99.5, earning him a spot in the list of Metro Cebu’s Top Ten Favorite Radio DJs. In 2007, he was chosen to be the official TV voice-over artist of GMA Regional TV in Cebu, Davao, Cagayan De Oro, and General Santos. He’s also enjoyed some screen time with TV stints on some GMA Regional TV shows, such as Buena Mano, an Eastern Visayas news program, and Oi! Show Nato Ni!, a Cebuano variety show. He’s also made an impact on the national level, with a guesting on GMA Network’s Eat Bulaga!, the country’s longest-running noontime show, and a stint during the 29th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in 2003.
He graduated from the Ateneo De Cagayan in 2005 with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology and two years of experience already under his belt. Aside from the GMA Network, where he stayed for seven years, he also worked with Home Radio and 107.5 Win Radio. Papa Dan is a professional in every sense of the word. His skills have been honed by thirteen years of experience in media, giving him an edge above other hosts and voice-over artists.
